I cannot say enough how incredibly happy my husband and I are with this venue. When the big day finally came upon us, I stumbled upon David giving his staff the rundown of the schedule and their assignments. Every little thing was beyond amazing and honestly I can't begin to explain how helpful everyone All I can say about this venue is WOW. We are so sorry for your loss. The Crowne Plaza, where the bride got ready, had very elegant and clean modern looking rooms. I cannot thank you enough was well. The dessert bar was such a big hit! If you are looking for a wedding reception venue, I seriously advise that you consider The Waterfall. She continued to show us around with only a few other incidences. Ultimately, these were just a few of the negative experiences, and despite my detailed complaint with documented proof, the general manager stated they executed my wedding flawlessly and my request had been denied. food was absolutely wonderful! We have received extensive calls, texts and emails from guests praising The Waterfall for a perfect evening. We chose the large ballroom preceded by many different appetizer stations. Anna, Deneen, and Laura insured that the wedding moved seamlessly and were very attentive. There are much better ways to handle something like that. She handled everything so seamlessly from start to finish. We booked because the price was right and what was included sounded amazing. Danielle did an amazing job, making sure we had water, beer, food, and anything the bridal party wanted during our pictures! - Jessy & The Waterfall Team. -there were 2 bar tenders for a 250 person wedding, which definitely overwhelmed the bartenders and annoyed my guests. Our decorations accompanied by the borrowed items from the venue made the Cascade Room look absolutely amazing. Additionally, during wedding planning, there was a change in staff, specifically our main contact person and would-be day of coordinator. Because dinner was served very late we were only left with about 2 hours of fun and dancing. We at The Waterfall are sympathetic to the unexpected events that happen to our clients. Jessy was amazing!- she has a very relaxed and calm demeanor which helps to balance out the craziness that every bride feels prior to their wedding. dn't be possible without The Waterfall. I knew they were going to do a great job, but to say it was above and beyond our highest expectations is an understatement. We were truly blown away by the staff. Not to mention, when the check didnt clear my bank, I checked the status once a week and they ensured me it was deposited, it wasnt until 6 weeks later the finance manager realized it never hit the books-I dont see how a venue looses a check I hand delivered. It was the 9th & last venue June 10th 2016 was the date of our event at The Waterfall in Claymont, DE. Of course, we had to wait for them to returnDespite my clear pictures and detailed plans for decorations, half of my decorations were not used, as guests were arriving they were still setting up, when my weddings were repackaged most of them were damaged, doing a final walk through through the facility I found my expensive faux flower decorations in the coat closet, etc. This notable estate is truly a one-of-a-kind property at which to host your wedding celebration. From the day I walked into the waterfall I fell in love! We had our wedding October 16, 2016 and everything was just amazing. Even though you will be situated just a few minutes away from Philadelphia, you will feel as if you are in a tucked-away garden setting. They were so good that after the wedding, even my groomsmen were telling me how great they were and taking care of stuff I didnt even know about and that they deserve a raise! They nailed every detailed we discussed and I can not thank them enough. Couples have the freedom to choose their own vendors. They were excellent!!!! The rest of our staff was outstanding as well taking special care of the tables where our immediate family was seated, and when the wedding occurring in the other ballroom got too rowdy, they were quick to work with the rest of the staff to get things under control so the issues next door didn't affect our day in any way. . They truly made us feel so special and made sure our day into the night was nothing short of perfection. She was open to my desires and made plenty of helpful suggestion. Capacity: 200. They had about 14 pages (front and back) of options for cocktail hour station, butlered hors-doeuvres, dessert stations, actual courses etc etc. We were in the cascade ballroom and so we had access to the outdoor area with the waterfalls and fire pits. edding day so special and we couldn't have asked for a better person to work with! Jessica was our new coordinator and she was great, however we weren't notified of the change in staff. hey worked with us in planning the ceremony and reception in a way that our guests will feel safe. Moving on we deliberately asked for mauve- colored napkins on the tables during the reception, The Waterfall decided on PINK. If its within your means, I would definitely recommend The Waterfall for a perfect start to your new beginning. I literally walked down the aisle and had to fight to hold my composure while being attacked by gnats, flies and mosquitoes. The team can help with event rentals if needed. You will not regret it!!! i obviously dont plan events on a daily basis so I didnt know how to do things liek place settings and table arrangements. Life just simply gets in the way. Our event planner Nicole was awesome and worked with us to make our day just the way we wanted it. They also got specific beers and wine we wanted at the wedding for no extra cost. Additionally, The waterfall includes catering and bar options, which were a plus for us. phone calls are returned so very quickly, and the staff went out of their way to make planning a breeze. but she kept us on point with timing and made sure the room remained stocked and comfortable. My husband and I got married September 8th, 2019 and my wedding day felt like the fairytale I dreamed it would be! ll amazed at how good the Hibiscus Juice and Ginger Juice tasted. The Waterfall provided us with best wedding day experience I could ever imagine! The venue is beautiful, the food is amazing and the staff is top notch. We couldn't have picked a better place to spend our special day. Everyone of our guests couldn't stop commenting on how great the food was, how accommodating the staff was and what a beautiful venue we chose. The venue is VERY BEAUTIFUL and worth the money.
